After painstakingly searching and extensive talks over the last 12 months, STARS did not manage to find the right acquisition target to fit in with their expansion plans. So in order to explore other avenues to expansion, STARS are now looking to partner with a number of other recruiters. Managing Director Carl Coombes said " We already have great working relationships with some of the larger, well established recruiters. In order to expand on this, we are now looking to partner with some of the smaller independants. Particularly in the current financial climate, this could give some of the smaller organisations an opportunity to develop a working relationship with STARS which could lead to a merger or acquisition."

February 2008 Sales Training And Recruitment Specialists (STARS) appointed as Preferred Supplier by Neverfail

STARS are pleased to announce their appointment as Preferred Supplier to Neverfail Group, a leading global software company providing a high availability solution in their disaster recovery and data protection solution. Neverfail have recently completed a deal with Vodafone UK. The Vodafone Neverfail High Availability Service for BlackBerry is aimed at providing provide uninterrupted availability of BlackBerry services to Vodafone business customers. STARS will be supplying all Neverfail's Sales, Pre-sales and Post-sales staff as well as their Telemarketers.

October 2007 Sales Training And Recruitment Specialists (STARS) partner up with Navigator

STARS are pleased to announce the launch of an additional service. Through the use of the Navigator software STARS are now using psychometric profiling as part of their standard service

The service comes in two parts. First the Personality Profile, which allows an employer to see how an individual would like their ideal job to require them to behave. By having a definitive template for success and a confirmed survey of an individual, it becomes far easier to recruit, develop and retain successful performers whose natural working style conforms to any given job role.

Secondly the Job Scan,, which allows an employer to define exactly the behavioral requirements of any given position prior to filling the position or to compare a current job holder to a definitive job role.

September 2007 STARS on the acquisition trail.

Looking to grow yet again, STARS are now on the acquisition trail.

Carl Coombes Managing Director said, "We are looking for recruitment agencies that will not only add value to our existing offering, but also give us the opportunity to diversify into areas other than sales without diluting our existing brand, by retaining the existing name under new management.

We are already speaking to a number of potential companies but are still open to other suggestions. We are particularly interested in recruiters that specialize in either IT, Construction or HR for perms temps or both."

30th July 2007 Launch of new website

July 2007 sees the launch of the all new STARS website. The new site incorporates all the usual features that you would expect from a Search & Selection and Headhunting website along with some exciting new ones.

The new site includes a FREE CV appraisal in conjunction with ConceptCV as well as dedicated sections to Leaders-Management & Director level recruitment, and a choice of payment terms.

15th April 2007 STARS Expand again

Due to recent additions to the team, Sales Training And Recruitment Specialists (STARS) have recently taken on a second office in Bristol & West House.

The serviced offices at Bristol & West House, in Post Office Road, Bournemouth have always provided STARS with the flexibility to grow and indeed, STARS have moved offices 3 times already since August 2004.

To date, each move has been to a larger office but now there are no larger offices available, so STARS have taken an additional office to accommodate the ever growing team.
